A resort which provides you ready access to a connected ski area, all with a single ski pass.
A resort that adheres to the charte des Villages de Montagne [Mountain Villages Charter] or an authentic village without modern buildings.
New Snow Sports Resort
A resort that has safe, dedicated areas for new snow sports (such as snow parks, boardercross areas, play areas, etc.) and instructors providing both introductory and more advanced training.
A resort that combines modernity with ski resort amenities and easy access to many different leisure activities and to nightlife.
A Nordique France resort or one offering an exceptional Nordic skiing area, as well as providing introductory and advanced training and coaching. This resort usually offers Nordic activities (dog sledding, snowshoeing, etc.)

Ski Resort for Disabled Visitors
To be included under this heading, the resorts must meet both of the following criteria: their ski school must offer handiski [ski instruction for the disabled] i.e. must have specialised materials and teaching available, and there must be disabled accessibility to the area and its accommodation.
The Famille Plus Montagne [Family Plus Mountain] Label
A unique national tourism label, recognized by the [French] Tourism Ministry, and created to describe the welcome and services offered to families. In order to be labelled as such, these resorts have committed to adhering to a quality charter.
